I know there are several people out there suffering from fertility issues so I thought I would post some recommendations on this issue. For those of you who have been through this, or know someone who has please post some of your recommendations below. Here are some things that I can recommend as far as fertility goes, I can have a better idea of what to tell you once I have zoned you and have an idea of where the problem might be. But you can look into some of this in the meantime. Most of the things that I recommend can be purchased through me, or at the health food store and some even at the grocery store. I use a company called Nature's Sunshine and doTERRA for most of my stuff as they have a wonderful line of products and where the supplements are not regulated by the FDA you really don't know what you are getting so I like to use a company that I really trust.

Lots of water, exercise if you can and try hard to eat lots of good food (fruits, veggies, beans, grains, lean protein) and try to cut out the processed crap... It will help, I know it is super hard (at least for me) but it will be worth it. And this is a big one try to cut out the stress, it is the culprit of sooo many problems from infertility to cancer... so find some way to destress.

Trying to get pregnant: both husband and wife take over 3000 IUS Vitamin E 3 times a day. Get zoned to get things clear. And of course, have sex. Raspberry leaf tea, vitamin B, sea salt, wild yam cream. Balance hormones with oils, tinctures, emotional balance.

Foods: sesame seeds (males), pumpkin seeds (males), seed and nut butters (males), cod roe, lecithin, egg yolk, black cherry, chlorophyll, raspberry leaf tea (to get pregnant), sea salt (mineral levels).

Drinks: black cherry concentrate, chlorophyll, pineapple juice, carrot juice, coconut milk.

Herbs: black cohosh (hormones), licorice (no diabetes), dong quai, ginseng, blessed thistle (hormones), blue cohosh (hormones), uva ursi, raspberry, squaw vine (females), chickweed, saw palmetto (males), false unicorn (prevents miscarriage), wild yam cream (nature’s progesterone, morning sickness).

Vitamin B and E to get pregnant.

Asparagus is nutrient-rich and thought to increase semen volume, used as an aphrodisiac in many countries. A cup of asparagus supplies folate, a B-vitamin essential for proper cellular division—make asparagus a frequent addition to your meal.

Green tea for her as this is supposed to increase your cervical mucus to create a good environment for sperm
Vitamin E for both of you
Zinc supplement just for him (this supports the prostate)
Red Raspberry supplement or tea just for her (this supports the entire female reproductive area)
Foot zone for both of you but mostly her
AromaTouch therapy for both of you, especially if stressed.
Geranium essential oil on the lower abdomen for her and on the lower back for him
Clary Sage essential oil on the lower abdomen for her (this will also help with cramping during that time of the month, and is said to help stimulate contractions when in labor to progress it along)
Bergamot essential oil on the lower abdomen for her

Prepardeness Storage Week 5

Okay so this week to build up my storage I will be stocking up on Peanut Butter. This is a staple at my house with 2 little ones. It is a great snack to dip apples, celery or crackers in. In addition to being a great way to get some protein. Try to purchase the natural Peanut butter as it is much better for you. Don't forget to use your coupons!

Zoning Classes!!!

I know not all of you are interested in zoning, but if you know someone who might be if you would please pass this along.

Okay due to a request from some of my soon to be students I am changing the way that the foot zone classes will be structured.

You can still just pay the $1700 and take all the classes and this will cover your cost of books and everything

Beginning Foot Zoning - 3 classes total cost is $410. You will pay as you go starting with a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot in the class, and then $120/ class. We will hold 3 classes to cover all the material. Upon completion of this course you will be given a test that will certify you as a beginning zoner. The cost of this class does include the book, workbook, and certification test.

Essential Oils class - 1 class total cost is $25 this includes the book. (if you would like to sign up with doTERRA oils the cost is an additional $170, but this includes a kit of oils)

I will need $50 to reserve your spot in the class. We will hold 10 classes to cover all the materials, this will include the body systems, and an in depth look at how to treat each system in the body through the zone, in addition to any of the other alternative treatments learned in the mini classes. We will have a lot of hands on work as well as at home study. You will be tested upon completion and receive and advanced certification in foot zone therapy.

This also makes it a little easier financially to break the classes down and take them when you can. I will have workbooks for each class, so you will know what you need to study for the tests. For those who are interested in studying on their own, and just testing I will be happy to work something out, so please contact me and we will work the details of your independent study course. Also as far as the prerequisites go if you have a background in any of the mini-classes we can have you just test out of that if you would like.

It is a better deal to just pay for all the courses up front as this includes your books, and all the extras such as the oils and herbs with both of the classes, and you get to attend all the classes. But if it is easier for you to break them down it is a great option. It also allows for you to get your beginning certification and then catch the next round of classes instead of having to do them all at once. The spring schedule for classes will be as follows.

I will also be putting together some nice fun little kits for those starting out zoning, I will have the kits and prices for the beginning foot zoning class. I hope this is a better fit for everyone who is interested. I am flexible with my schedule, so if there is a date that will not work for the class we can be flexible, and open it up to a different date.

Cough update

Okay so Brody is and has been 100% better since the last post, however Bridger (my 10 month old) had an ear infection. We took him in to the doctor after his fever got to 103.4 and got him on an antibiotic, and took him to the chiropractor and had him adjusted. He was a new little boy by the next day. The chiropractor helped a ton, and the antibiotics have been great aside from the side affects of diarrhea and smelly pee. We have kept up with the oils and the silver with Bridger, and a little with Brody just in case. So there you have we are all so different that even with what I am sure was the same illness we needed two different courses of treatment. Everyone responds differently to different things, so what worked for one is not a guarantee to work for another. It is my own personal belief that if the modern medical world and the alternative healing world could come together, we would see miracles. Hope you are all happy and healthy!

Habit of using your oils Daily!

Dr. Hill reminded us that the body has the ability to heal itsel f, and that the oils help in aiding the body to heal. He talks a lot about the wonderful effects of using the oils everyday. We want to develop daily habits of using essential oils such as the following:

1. Use Citrus oils daily – if you aren’t already, Lemon, Grapefruit or Wild Orange in the water you drink throughout the day is so refreshing and is first in aiding the body with antiseptic qualities. Citrus oils also help put us in a calm emotional state.
2. Put Balance on the bottom of feet in the morning. This blend is great because of the Frankincense - which is recommended to use everyday! This is one of my favorite blends!
3. Before bedtime – Lavender or Serenity on the bottom of feet, in the bathtub, down the spine and/or in the diffuser.
4. On Guard everyday in juice, a capsule, or on the bottom of feet – this helps rebuild your immunity.

No sugar for a week (try it and see)

"Say No to Sugar for One Week and Feel Great"

Interest, per capita consumption of added sugars has
risen by 28% since 1983. The average American consumes
at least 64 pounds of sugar per year, and the average
teenage boy at least 109 pounds.

Consuming the typical amount of white sugar makes most
people moody or hyper or cranky or nasty or just plain

Scientific studies funded by the sugar industry
"prove" that white sugar won't hurt us one lick and
is supposedly good for us.


Be your own scientific study. Remove all white sugar
from your diet for seven days and amaze yourself
at how much better you'll feel at the end of that
period. Be sure to check with your doctor before
trying this if you are diabetic or have any kind
of health problems related to sugar intake.

More disturbing sugar facts from the CSPI:

The typical American gets 16% of his or her calories
from added sugars.

Children aged 6 to 11 get 18% of their calories from
added sugars.

Teenagers (12 to 19) get 20% of their calories
from added sugars.

USDA projects that if consumption trends continue,
added-sugars intake will increase almost 20% between
1996 and 2005.

People who consume diets high in added sugars consume
lower levels of fiber; vitamins A, C, E, and folate;
magnesium; calcium; and other nutrients. By displacing
protective nutrients and foods in the diet, added sugars
may increase the risk of osteoporosis, cancer, high blood
pressure, heart disease and other health problems.

Calorie-dense foods, which are typically high in sugar
and/or fat, contribute to obesity. Between 1976-80 and
1988-94, overweight rates in teenage boys rose from 5%
to 12%, in teenage girls from 7% to 11%, and in adults
from 25% to 35%. If you think the obesity trend hasn't
continued, stop and look at the people around you
when you're outside today.

I repeat the point of today's health tip: remove all
refined sugar (read the labels on everything you
eat and purchase) out of your diet for one week
and see how much better you feel and act without
the stuff in your body.

Sweet Poison

I got this as an e-mail a few years back, and those of you who know me know how I feel about artificial sweetners. You probably also know that about 3 years ago I lived for my diet coke. Well that has all changed upon educating myself about artifical sweeteners. Occasionally you will see me with one, but I can honestly say I have probably have about 6 diet sodas a year if that. I know some of you are diabetic and cannot avoid some of this, but for those of you who are not it is really something to think about cutting back or giving up completely.


In October of 2001, my sister started getting very sick. She had stomach spasms
and she was having a hard time getting around.? Walking was a major chore. It took
everything she had just to get out of bed; she was in so much pain.

By March 2002, she had undergone several tissue and muscle biopsies and was on
24 various prescription medications.? The doctors could not determine what was
wrong with her. She was in so much pain, and so sick.she just knew she was
dying. She put her house, bank accounts, life insurance, etc.,? in her oldest
daughter's name, and made sure that her younger children were to be taken care

She also wanted her last hooray, so she planned a trip to Florida .

March 22

On March 19 I called her to ask how her most recent tests went, and she said
they didn't find anything on the test, but they believe she had MS.

I recalled an article a friend of mine e-mailed to me and I asked my sister if
she drank diet soda? She told me that she did.? As a matter of? fact, she was
getting ready to crack one open that moment.

I told her not to open it, and to stop drinking the diet soda!
I e -mailed her the article my friend, a lawyer, had sent.

My sister called me within 32 hours after our phone conversation and told me
she had stopped drinking the diet soda AND she could walk!? The muscle spasms
went away. She said she didn't feel 100% but she sure felt a lot better. She
told me she was going to her doctor with this article and would call me when
she got home.
Well, she called me, and said her doctor was amazed! He is going to call all of
his MS patients to find out if they consumed artificial sweeteners of any kind.

In a nutshell, she was being poisoned by the Aspartame i n the diet soda...and
literally dying a slow and mi serable death.

When she got to Florida March 22, all she had to take was one pill, and that was a pill for the Aspartame poisoning! She is well on her way to a complete recovery. And she is walking! No wheelchair! This article saved her life.

If it says 'SUGAR FREE' on the label; DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

I have spent several days lecturing at the WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE on 'ASPARTAME', MARKETED AS 'NutraSweet', 'Equal', and 'Spoonful'.

In the keynote address by the EPA, it was announced that in the United States in 2001 there is an epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. It was difficult to determine exactly what toxin was causing this to be rampant. I stood up and said that I was there to lecture on exactly that subject. I will explain why Aspartame is so dangerous: When the temperature of this sweetner exceeds 86 degrees F.(and it always will in our bodies) the wood alcohol in ASPARTAME converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants. The methanol toxicity mimics, among other conditions, multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus. Many people were being diagnosed in error! Although multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence, Methanol toxicity is!

Systemic lupus has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis, especially with Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi drinkers. The victum usually does not know that the Aspartame is the culprit. He or she continues its use; irritating the lupus to such a degree that it may become a life-threatening condition. We have seen patients with systemic lupus become asymptotic, once taken off diet sodas.

In cases of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, most of the symptoms disappear. We have seen many cases where vision loss returned and hearing loss improved markedly. This also applies to cases os tinnitus and fibromyalgia.

During a lecture, I said, 'If you are using ASPARTAME (NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc) and you suffer from fibromyalgia symptoms, spasms, shooting pains, numbness in your legs, cramps, vertigo, dizziness, headaches, tinnitus, joint pain, unexplainable depression, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, blurred vision, or memory loss, you probably have ASPARTAME poisoning!

People were jumping up during the lecture saying, 'I have some of these symptoms. Is it reversible?'

Yes! Yes! Yes! STOP drinking diet sodas and be alert for Aspartame on food labels as many foods are fortified with it! This is a serious problem.

Dr. Espart (one of my speakers) remarked that so many people seem to be symptomatic for MS and during his recent visit to a hospice, a nurse stated that six of her friends, who were heavy Diet Coke addicts, had all been diagnosed with MS. This is beyond coincidence!

Diet soda is NOT a diet product!! It is a chemically altered, multiple SODIUM (salt) and ASPARTAME containing product that actually makes you CRAVE CARBOHYDRATES. It is far more likely to make you GAIN weight!

These products also contain formaldehyde, which stores in the fat cells, particularly in the hips and thighs. Formaldehyde is an absolute toxin and is used primarily to preserve 'tissue specimens'. Many products we use every day contain this chemical but we should not store it in our body!

Dr. H.J. Roberts stated in his lectures that once free of the 'diet Products' and with no significant increase in exercise; his patients lost an average of 19 pounds over a trial period. ASPARTAME IS ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS FOR DIABETICS!

We found that some physicians, who believed that they had a patient with retinopathy, in fact, had symptoms caused by Aspartame. The Aspartame drives the blood sugar out of control. Thus diabetics may suffer acute memory loss due to the fact that aspartic acid and phenylalanine are NEUROTOXIC when taken without the other amino acids necessary for a good balance. Treating diabetics is all about BALANCE. Especially with diabetics, the Aspartame passes the blood/brain barrier and then it deteriorates the neurons of the brain; causing various levels of brain damage, seizures, depression, manic depression, panic attacks, uncontrollable anger and rage.

Consumption of Aspartame causes these same symptoms in non-diabetics as well.

Documentation and observation also reveal that thousands of children diagnosed with ADD and ADHD have had complete turnarounds in their behavior when these chemicals have been removed from their diet. So called 'behavior modification prescription drugs' (Ritalin and others) are no longer needed. Truth be told, they were never needed in the first place! Most of these children were being 'poisoned' on a daily basis with the very foods that were supposed to be 'better for them than sugar'.

It is also suspected that the Aspartame in thousands of pallets of diet Coke and Diet Pepsi consumed by men and women fighting in the Gulf War, may be partially to blame for the well-known Gulf War Syndrome.

Dr. Roberts warns that it can cause birth defects, i.e. mental retardation, if taken at the time of conception and during early pregnancy. Children are especially at risk for neurological disorders and should NEVER be given artificial sweetners. There are many different case histories to relate of children suffering from grand mal seizures and other neurological disturbances talking about a plague of neurological diseases directly caused by the use of this deadly poison.'

Herein lies the problem: There were Congressional Hearings when Aspartame was included in 100 different products and strong objection was made concerning its use. Since this initial hearing, there have been two subsequent hearings, and still nothing has been done. The drug and chemical lobbies have very deep pockets.

Sadly, MONSANTO'S patent on Aspertame has EXPIRED! Now there are over 5,000 products on the market that contain this deadly chemical and there will be thousands more intrduced. Why? Everybody wants a 'piece of the Aspartame pie'. I assure you that MONSANTO, the creator of Aspartame, knows how deadly it is.

And isn't it ironic that MONSANTO funds, among others, the American Diabetes Association, the American Dietetic Association, and the Conference of the American College of Physicians? This has recently been exposed in the New York Times.

These (organizations) cannot criticize any additives or convey their link to MONSANTO because they take money from the food industry and are required to endorse their products. Senator Howard Metzenbaum wrote and presented a bill that would require label warnings on products containing Aspartame, especially regarding pregnant women, children, and infants. The bill would also institute independent studies on the known dangers and the problems existing in the general population regarding seizures, changes in brain chemistry, neurological changes and behavioral symptoms.

THE BILL WAS KILLED!! It is known that the powerful drug and chemical lobbies are responsible for this, letting loose the hounds of disease and death on an unsuspecting and uninformed public. Well, you are informed now!

John Hopkins Findings on Cancer


Sounds like we all need to make a few minor adjustments to our routine.

An interesting read


1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5 To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size . However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system m is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.


A Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to prod u ce mucus, especially in the gastrointestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, especially breast cancer.
Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies.
Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic.

Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Progra m Ma nager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us.. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers.

This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food. You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else.

Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in t he paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foa m con tainers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

NO More Heart Disease

The book that I have been reading is entitled “NO More Heart Disease” by Dr. Louis J. Ignore. Dr. Ignore received a Nobel Prize for his medical research on the topic of Nitric Oxide in 1998. His findings are amazing and yet little has been heard from the medical world about his results. I think you will be amazed, or not when you learn why.

Cough update

Okay so Brody is 100% better has been since Saturday. Bridger however has been up the last two nights with an ear infection. I have been zoning him and doing the same routine as I was before with the addition of hydrogen peroxide drops, and colloidal silver in his hears along with warm olive oil drops in his hears. I have elevated his bed to help drainage, and lots of sleep. Today he has been better so far, but I don't think he is 100% over it. We are headed for a nice hot bath and another zone. I have kept up the silver and oils with Brody just in case.

Eating Right for Your Blood Type

Do you know what your blood type is? If not, you may ask your physician to order a special blood test for you to determine what your blood type is. Unless you have been hospitalized, had surgery, or have given blood, this type of blood screening is not ordinarily done as a matter of routine.

There has been extensive scientific research over the past 30 years that shows evidence that your individual blood type determines your predisposition toward getting certain diseases, such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, lupus, muscular sclerosis, allergies, etc. Our blood type also determines what type of biochemistry our digestive systems are made of. "Your blood type is a powerful genetic fingerprint that identifies you as surely as your DNA".

There are four blood type groups: O, A, B, and AB. The majority of people are Blood Type O. Next comes Blood Type A, then Blood Type B; and, Blood Type AB is very rare and has only been around for about 1000 years. Less than 5% of the world's population have Blood Type AB.

Have you ever noticed that some people can eat a variety of foods with no problems, while others suffer from gas, bloating, indigestion and heartburn? The reason for this is that people with different blood types cannot eat or digest the same foods equally. The following is a brief overview of the peculiarities of each blood type group:

Blood Type O

Blood Type O is the oldest blood type in the world (evolved around 40,000 BC), and is traced back to CroMagnon man. People with Blood Type O have the hardiest digestive systems. They are the meat-eaters. Persons with Blood Type O need animal protein for good health, as well as vegetables and fruits. However, carbohydrates should be kept to a minimum, since the Blood Type O person cannot digest carbohydrates very well, especially wheat products containing gluten. This person will do well on a high animal protein, low carbohydrate diet; and, dairy products should be kept to a minimum. Persons with Blood Type O produce a lot of hydrochloric acid in their stomachs, and it is this great abundance of stomach acid that allows them to digest animal protein favorably. And, because their digestive systems already contain a lot of stomach acid, they should avoid drinking coffee, since coffee will cause them to produce even more stomach acid, and this tends to make them prone to peptic ulcers, especially if they are constantly under a great deal of stress. They should drink more green tea, instead of coffee. Persons with Blood Type O tend to have low thyroid and sluggish metabolisms; therefore, they should supply their diets with sea kelp and seafood to obtain natural iodine to stimulate their thyroids. The best exercises for these persons are the vigorous workouts like jogging, power walking, aerobics, weight training, etc. The harder they exercise, the better they will feel. Get the heart rate going, and sweat up a storm to burn calories, alleviate stress and eliminate depression!

· Cereals: cornflakes, cornmeal, cream of wheat, familia, farina, grape nuts, seven-grain, shredded wheat, wheat bran, wheat germ.

· Beverages: coffee (regular & decaf), distilled liquor, all sodas, black teas.

Blood Type A

People with Blood Type A evolved from the hunter/meat-eater to the agrarian, and were the farmers and grain gatherers. This blood type evolved between 25,000 and 15,000 bC. They have fragile digestive systems. These people cannot tolerate animal protein well, and should be the proverbial, classic "vegetarian" of the human species. They also are usually lactose intolerant, as well. Persons with Blood Type A should avoid animal protein and dairy products, and would do well with whole grains, legumes, fruits and vegetables. Tofu and Hawaiian Spirulina should become the Blood Type A person's best friends, as these foods contains high-quality vegetable protein! Persons with Blood Type A do not produce enough hydrochloric acid in their stomachs, and that is why they have a difficult time digesting animal protein well. This also gives them a predisposition toward getting stomach cancer, and should never eat smoked or cured meats due to the sodium nitrites in them. Animal protein and dairy products tend to rot and ferment in their digestive tracts, and the toxic bacteria backs up into their tissues and muscles, thereby causing digestive distress. A lack of sufficient hydrochloric acid in their stomachs is another reason that persons with Blood Type A do not absorb Vitamin B12 properly from the foods they eat. Vitamin B12 is normally found in red meat, although B12 is also found in superior vegetable protein foods such as Hawaiian Spirulina, soy products and sea kelp. This inability to absorb Vitamin B12 sufficiently from food tends to make the person with Blood Type A prone to pernicious anemia. Therefore, supplementing the diet with Vitamin B12 is critical. Also recommended is supplementation with digestive enzymes such as betaine, bromelain and papain. Bromelain is derived from pineapple, and assists with the digestion of animal protein. Betaine will help to increase the amount of hydrochloric acid in their stomachs. The best exercise for these persons is not the heavy, vigorous workouts, but more calming, centering exercises like Tai Chi, Hatha Yoga and golfing. These soothing types of exercises will relieve the Blood Type A person's stress in a more beneficial way.

This blood type developed between 15,000 and 10,000 BC. Persons with Blood Type B have tolerant digestive systems, and can tolerate most foods equally well, with some exceptions. They are the lucky ones who can digest all types of foods with ease. However, the foods they should avoid are corn, buckwheat, lentils, peanuts, and sesame seeds, as these foods will tend to make them gain weight. Just like the Type O's, Type B's tend to have a problem with gluten in wheat products and wheat germ, which can cause a drop in their blood sugar levels, causing symptoms of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Blood Type B's who want to lose weight should definitely avoid wheat products. These lucky people can handle dairy products okay, compared to the other blood types. However, easy does it; if you consume too many high-calorie dairy products, you will gain weight! If you get hypoglycemia after eating a meal, sipping licorice tea would be beneficial for you. It is not advisable to take licorice supplements, unless under the supervision of a doctor. However, sipping licorice tea is very good.

Foods that encourage weight loss - Green vegetables; red meat such as lamb, mutton and rabbit; liver; turkey; pheasant; eggs/low-fat dairy products, including eggs from chicken; seafood, especially deep ocean fish such as cod and salmon, also flounder, halibut and sole; licorice tea. (Licorice tea is great to sip after a meal, as this will prevent hypoglycemia); soy foods; olive and flaxseed oil; oatmeal; oat bran; millet; rice bran; spelt; puffed rice.

Other foods to avoid

Blood Type AB

Very rare, and the gentle offspring of Type A and Type B blood. This blood type has only been around for about 1000 years; a modern adaptation and result of intermingling of disparate groups. Less than 5% of the world's population have Blood Type AB. You combine the best and the worst of Blood Types A and B. Most foods that are bad for the Type A and Type B persons, are also bad for the Type AB person, with the exception of tomatoes. The Blood Type AB person can tolerate tomato lectins well. Like Type A, you do not produce enough hydrochloric stomach acid to digest animal protein well, such as red meat and poultry, yet you do need some animal protein. Therefore, portion size is important, and with less frequency. Be sure to take bromelain, a digestive enzyme derived from pineapple, to assist with the digestion of your animal protein meals. The best meats for you are lamb, mutton, rabbit and turkey. Also, avoid smoked and cured meats.

You are what you eat, so eat well. A stupendous insight of civilizations past has now been confirmed by today's investigative, nutritional sciences. They have shown that what was once called 'The Doctrine of Signatures' was astoundingly correct. Top 11 Foods (ones you can easily find)

I recently read an article in the NY Times on the top 11 foods and thought I would share this info with all of you. According to the article and a Dr. Bowden who wrote "The 150 healthiest foods on earth" The top 11 easy to find foods are
Beets, cabbage, swiss chard, cinnamon, pomegranate juice, dried plums, pumpkin seeds,
sardines, turmeric, frozen blue berries, and canned pumpkin.

1. Beets: because the are a great source of folate and are said to be a natural cancer fighter. Eat them fresh raw, or on a salad. Heating them decreases the antioxidant power.
2. Cabbage: because it has a ton of nutrients, some of which are said to boost cancer fighting enzymes in the body. Eat as a salad, slaw, topping on sandwiches or in a soup.
3. Swiss chard: for those of you like me that didn't know what this was it is a green leafy veggie. That tells you right there that it is probably great for you. IT is said to protect aging eyes. Chop it up and saute it in olive oil or coconut oil and eat it up!!
4. Cinnamon: I am sure you have all seen the e-mail that has been circulating for years on how great cinnamon is for your. It is said to help control blood sugar and cholesterol. Here is the article that has been circulating about the power of cinnamon and honey combined:
Weekly World News, a magazine in Canada , in its issue dated 17 August 2009, has given the following list of diseases that can be cured by honey and cinnamon as researched by western scientists:

Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread, instead of jelly and jam, and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also, those who have already had an attack, if they do this process daily, they are kept miles away from the next attack. Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heart beat. In America and Canada , various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that as you age, the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalize the arteries and veins.

Arthritis patients may take daily, morning and night, one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured.. In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University , it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon Cinnamon powder before breakfast, they found that within a week, out of the 200 people so treated, practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain, and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.

Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.

Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, given to a cholesterol patient, was found to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10 percent within two hours. As mentioned for arthritic patients, if taken three times a day, any chronic cholesterol is cured. According to information received in the said Journal, pure honey taken with food daily relieves complaints of cholesterol. I'm going to start using a tub of Cinnamon Honey Butter a week.

Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon lukewarm honey with 1/4 spoon cinnamon powder daily for three days. This process will cure most chronic cough, cold, and clear the sinuses.

Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures stomach ache and also clears stomach ulcers from the root.

According to the studies done in India and Japan , it is revealed that if Honey is taken with cinnamon powder the stomach is relieved of gas.

Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacteria and viral attacks.. Scientists have found that honey has various vitamins and iron in large amounts. Constant use of Honey strengthens the white blood corpuscles to fight bacterial and viral diseases.

Cinnamon powder sprinkled on two tablespoons of honey taken before food relieves acidity and digests the heaviest of meals.

A scientist in Spain has proved that honey contains a natural 'Ingredient' which kills the influenza germs and saves the patient from flu.

Tea made with honey and cinnamon powder, when taken regularly, arrests the ravages of old age. Take four spoons of honey, one spoon of cinnamon powder, and three cups of water and boil to make like tea. Drink 1/4 cup, three to four times a day. It keeps the skin fresh and soft and arrests old age. Life spans also increase and even a 100 year old, starts performing the chores of a 20-year-old.

Three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder paste. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. If done daily for two weeks, it removes pimples from the root.

Applying honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts on the affected parts cures eczema, ringworm and all types of skin infections.

Daily in the morning one half hour before breakfast on an empty stomach, and at night before sleeping, drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup of water. If taken regularly, it reduces the weight of even the most obese person.. Also, drinking this mixture regularly does not allow the fat to accumulate in the body even though the person may eat a high calorie diet.

Recent research in Japan and Australia has revealed that advanced cancer of the stomach and bones have been cured successfully. Patients suffering from these kinds of cancer should daily take one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder for one month three times a day.

Recent studies have shown that the sugar content of honey is more helpful rather than being detrimental to the strength of the body. Senior citizens, who take honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts, are more alert and flexible. 5. Pomegranate juice: Is supposed to lower your blood pressure in addition to being loaded with antioxidants. So drink it!

7. Pumpkin seeds: Eat theses roased as a snack, sprinkled in a salad, or in your granola. They are the most nutitious part of the pumpkin packed with magnesium, and selenium among other minerals that will lower your risk for early death.
8. Sardines: Dr. Bowden calls them “health food in a can.” They are high in omega-3’s, contain virtually no mercury and are loaded with calcium. They also contain iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, copper and manganese as well as a full complement of B vitamins. Choose sardines packed in olive or sardine oil. Eat plain, mixed with salad, on toast, or mashed with dijon mustard and onions as a spread.
9. Turmeric: The “superstar of spices,” it may have anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties. Mix with scrambled eggs or in any vegetable dish.
10. Frozen blueberries: Even though freezing can degrade some of the nutrients in fruits and vegetables, frozen blueberries are available year-round and don’t spoil; associated with better memory in animal studies. Eat these blended with yogurt or chocolate soy milk and sprinkled with crushed almonds.
11. Canned pumpkin: A low-calorie vegetable that is high in fiber and immune-stimulating vitamin A; fills you up on very few calories. Mix with a little butter, cinnamon and nutmeg. My little boy loved this when he was little, and it is much less expensive than buying baby food.

Cough update

okay after all of that yesterday both of my kids are almost clear of their cough... Don't get me wrong it is still there a little, and we will repeat the same steps again today but I was amazed at how much better they are both doing today compared to yesterday. Both woke up with no snotty nose running down their face like yesterday. I will keep you posted on how long for them to completely feel 100% better.

Have a Cough?

We currently have a cough at our house, here is what we are doing to get rid of it. Okay so it is just my kids that have this cough, Brody (3yrs old) and Bridger (10months) so we really can't use much medicine that is going to help.

Start the morning off with some Breath essential oil blend on the chest and on Guard essential oil blend on the backs of their necks and mine just in case. Along with the bottoms of their feet. I have put the oils in an easy to use roll on tube so that I don't have essential oil running all down my arms and theirs. You can purchase these from me for $1.50/tube for the empty tube. The tubes are similar to the one in the picture below, I put that on just to give you an idea of what I was meaning. Then a spray of Silver Shield this is a product from Nature's sunshine. It is a natural anti-biotic, anti-viral spray. I have taken the dose down to about 1/4 of the adult recommendation for my kids.

I am going to give both of them a foot zone today and really work over their lungs and sinuses. But make sure to hit everywhere cause we are all connected.

I will be putting a stone on both of them, I usually stick one in their pocket, under their pillow or mattress, or on a small bracelet (I know they are little boys, but if it is helping them I don't really care) I do try to make them as masculine as possible. I will probably apply the oil again around lunch time.

There will be a lot of hand washing and water for both of them.

Then tonight before bed they will get a nice warm/hot bath with some essential oils mixed with sea salts, epsom salts, and baking soda. I would say about equal parts sea salts and epsom salts with about 1/2 the amount of baking soda. I usually make enough for a few baths at a time. Add as much or as little essential oils as you would like, but I would say about 5-10 drops/cup of mixture. I would add for a couple of baths about 1/2 C dead sea salts, 1/2 C epsom salts and 1/4 C baking soda with about 10 drops of essential oils. For my boys I will probably put in doTERRA's Breath blend, with doTERRA's OnGuard blend and a drop or two of lavender to help them sleep.

Then after the bath I will be putting the oils on them again.

Essential oils have been used throughout recorded history for a wide variety of wellness applications. The Egyptians were some of the first people to use aromatic essential oils extensively in medical practice, beauty treatment, food preparation, and in religious ceremony. Frankincense, sandalwood, myrrh and cinnamon were considered very valuable cargo along caravan trade routes and were sometimes exchanged for gold.

With January comes cold, and snow, and if you are in cache valley inversion, but it can also bring with it “The Blues.” If we know that this can happen there are ways we can act to strike it down before it gets serious. Here are some natural ways to help pull you out of the blues.

Okay so this might not be the best for your skin, but sometimes when I need that little pick me up I head to the tanning beds. I don't ever stay the full time or burn. I just go long enough to get a little warmth and sun, okay fake sun. This can also help the dry patches of skin that tend to appear in these dry cold months.
Go get out in the sun shine if it is out there and make sure you let as much natural light into your home as you can.

Sometimes doing acts of service for others will help you to snap out of a depression. Or find someone that you can confide in and talk with them on a regular basis. Or find a fun activity that you enjoy and possibly a partner to do this with if you know you won't do it on your own. Things like an exercise class, a sewing class, movie night, girls game night, and make sure to do them regularly.
